The AT EXPO AFRICA dialogue aims for broad public engagement, bringing together assistive technology users, civil society including organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), with clinicians, service providers, manufacturers, and innovators, alongside governments, regional bodies, UN agencies, and strategic donors to explore how assistive technology can create greater inclusion and impact across Africa. The programme combines high-level policy discussions, practical insights from real-world implementation, and interactive workshops showcasing innovative assistive technology solutions.
Bringing together diverse perspectives and real-world experience, the dialogue is designed to spark ideas, share solutions and drive lasting change.

World Day for Assistive Technology (June 4): the expo will host awareness-raising activities and recognition ceremonies throughout the day to champion global AT inclusion
AT innovation awards: recognising the contributions of young innovators and start-ups
Social and networking events: beyond the exhibition and dialogue, attendees can engage in business-to-business meetings, guided tours, and interactive demonstrations
